Mamma Mia! 3 Is Possibly On Its Way, Says Christine Baranski
The Revelation Is Music To The Ears
ABBA fans, get your sunscreen ready - we don't want to make promises, but it seems that Mamma Mia! is likely gearing up for a third cinematic spectacle. According to fan-favorite Christine Baranskistars (the star who plays the auntie that we all want to be, Tanya), it may be more than just whispers around the island. Our fingers and toes are officially crossed!
What We Know So Far
In a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Baranski let slip some exciting news: "I was in London with [producer] Judy Kramer at our favourite watering hole, she is planning Mamma Mia 3. She gave me the narrative plotline of how it's going to happen. That's all I can say! But, it's not like, "Oh, I wish it could happen!" Judy Craymer makes things happen. She made number two happen, and it was a phenomenal hit. I wouldn't put it past Judy Kramer to get everybody back together."
Rumors about a third Mamma Mia! movie have been gaining momentum and making more noise than Donna and The Dynamos since the crew from the hit TV talent series Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream visited Craymer, who hinted at even more adventures for the beloved characters. If one thing is clear, Craymer seems determined to make Mamma Mia! 3 happen. And if the first two films are anything to go by, we're in for another dazzling, sun-soaked ride packed with ABBA hits, cocktails, and sing-along heartwarming moments.
Meanwhile, the stage production that started it all is still going strong in London's West End, recently celebrating its 25th anniversary. The Mamma Mia! magic is here to stay, and we can't wait to see what's next. Here we go again!
