Why see Barenaked Ladies?

Last summer on earth tour!

Canada's finest purveyors of bouncy pop-rock are heading out for a handful of shows in 2024. The multiple Juno Award-winning band never fail to deliver hook-laden goodness, from their iconic single 'One Week', to the theme tune for TV's The Big Bang Theory, and their live shows are always fantastic fun.

Fusing a range of genres (from hip-hop to acoustic pop) together to create upbeat anthems and melodic jams (see ubiquitous smash hit of the 90s One Week), the band is still going strong despite the departure of lead singer Steven Page in 2009, with fellow founding member Ed Robertson stepping up and filling his shoes. Known for their high-energy performances (audience rock outs are encouraged), Barenaked Ladies are living legends not to be missed!

Genny

BNL at The Riverside Theater, June 22

I'm not sure what show 'Eeic' from Minneapolis was at, but it couldn't have been a Barenaked Ladies concert and certainly not in Milwaukee. I've seen the band three times now and have NEVER been disappointed; last night's concert was utterly fantastic. My son and I had the VIP package and had the pleasure of seeing the guys practice during the soundcheck yesterday afternoon, as well as meeting each of them. The first opener for the band was K.T. Tunstall and she was absolutely amazing. The second band, Better Than Ezra, brought incredible energy to the place and few people were left sitting down. However, once BNL came on around 9 P.M., NOBODY stayed in their seats. Ed, Jim, Tyler, and Kevin more than delivered a great set, playing for nearly two hours, but also gave heartfelt thanks to their fans for supporting them throughout the years. Now, that it's over, I can hardly wait to see them again and already planning our next BNL concert adventure. ... Read more

Where was the promised Del Amitri?

The only reason I bought tickets to this show (as fond as I am about The BNL) was to see Del Amitri. It was billed as DA opening for BNL and I was extremely disappointed that they did not open. To add to my disappointment the BNL kept saying “how about Del Amitri?”…and “Give it up for Del Amitri”! I began to wonder if I had missed an entire segment of the show. BNL is a great band and gave a sound, humorous and entertaining show. If Del Amitri had opened I would have given this review 6 stars, end of story. The billing was deceiving and as I said beforehand, disappointing. I had bought four tickets and had raved to my family about how great a band Del Amitri was. Oh well, back to my Bucket List option to finally see DA. ... Read more

I'm there. All in all I was very satisfied. I have to remember these bands are just starting to go on the road after COVID . Kudos to all three bands that played last night. It really was a big bang 🙂 ... Read more
